This collection of Vermont's best recipes has been compiled by Betsy with many contributions from customers, staff and family.  While many recipes use maple syrup or cheese, you will find lots of traditional New England recipes for everything from apple pie to zucchini casserole. Along with the usual categories of appetizers, soups and salads, vegetables and side dishes, main dishes, bread and rolls, desserts, cakes and candies.

There are special pages on serving suggestions for cheese, what it takes to make a gallon of pure Vermont Maple Syrup, the history of Sugarbush Farm, planning a cheese party, line drawings of the maple sugaring process and some of the Luce's best loved farming poems. The 124 page book with a spiral binding allows it to lie flat on your counter.

    I can't help but be pleased with myself for going ahead and ordering this book. I kind of collect recipes and books. I used to try new things on my husband who passed away 2 yrs ago and I have not tried to cook anything new since. I bought this one since I got the sugar and cream I knew I would need help in using it. I will. I love that these recipes are from the women of Sugarbush and Vermont. It makes it so homey and personal. Thank you.

    I have only been to Sugarbush Farm once as I live in Charleston, SC. However, I loved seeing it on a trip to Woodstock several years ago. When I saw on the internet that you had a cookbook I was anxious to see it. After reading it from cover to cover, I decided to order 7 more copies to give to family at Christmas, as these 7 families are all joining us in Woodstock for a week next summer. I loved the recipes from people throughout the state. And I really like all the personal touches throughout the cookbook--like cheese serving suggestions, making a gallon of maple syrup, A Farmer's Creed, Pantry Basics, etc. I am hoping this cookbook inspires all my family to research your state in depth--and I am sure they will all want to visit Sugabush Farms during our vacation there.
